DENTAL IMPLANTS

Dental implants are the closest you can get to healthy, natural teeth. They allow you to live the way you want to – confidently eating, smiling, laughing, talking, kissing and enjoying all of your everyday activities.Dental implants are metal fixtures, surgically fastened to your jawbone below the gums, onto which artificial teeth can be mounted. These metal implants actually become anchored to your bone through osseointegration (the bone fuses to the metal). This process provides stable support you can rely on while eating and speaking. With the technologies we have available in our clinic we offer the possibility to place implants with surgical guides.Surgical guides allow doctors to plan an implant virtually and then accurately place an implant in the most safe, predictable, and efficient manner. In addition to increased accuracy, patients will also save chair time.

CROWNS

A dental crown is a tooth-shaped "cap" that is placed over a tooth to cover the tooth to restore its shape and size, strength, and improve its appearance.A dental crown may be needed in the following situations:

  • To protect a weak tooth (for instance, from decay) from breaking or to hold together parts of a cracked tooth
  • To restore an already broken tooth or a tooth that has been severely worn down
  • To cover and support a tooth with a large filling when there isn't a lot of tooth left
  • To hold a dental bridge in place
  • To cover misshaped or severely discolored teeth
  • To cover a dental implant
  • To make a cosmetic modification

Dental crowns used to take weeks to create and deliver, but CEREC in-office dental crown milling has shortened the process to just one visit. Now you can have a full ceramic crown, bridge or veneer in just one appointment. No impression materials,no temporary prostheses,no follow up appointment and multiple injections.

TEETH WHITENING

Teeth whitening is a dental procedure which can lighten the shade of the tooth. It works by removing the pigment from the enamel of the tooth, and it whitens from the inside out of the tooth. It is used to treat discolored teeth.Teeth whitening is a form of dentistry and should only be carried out by a dentist.

ROOT CANAL TREATMENT

Root canal treatment is the removal of the tooth's pulp, a small, thread-like tissue in the center of the tooth. Once the damaged, diseased or dead pulp is removed, the remaining space is cleaned, shaped and filled. This procedure seals off the root canal. Years ago, teeth with diseased or injured pulps were removed. Today, root canal treatment saves many teeth that would otherwise be lost.

VENEERS

Dental veneers (sometimes called porcelain veneers or dental porcelain laminates) are wafer-thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front surface of teeth to improve your appearance. These shells are bonded to the front of the teeth changing their color, shape, size, or length.

Veneers are routinely used to fix:

Teeth that are discolored because of:

  • root canal treatment
  • stains from tetracycline or other drugs
  • excessive fluoride
  • large resin fillings
  • other causes

Teeth that are worn down

Teeth that are chipped or broken

Teeth that are misaligned, uneven, or irregularly shaped (for example, have craters or bulges in them)

Teeth with gaps between them (to close the space between these teeth)
